YourFit's Women-Only Training Area: Her Zone and Beyond

Choose more privacy in Her Zone on floor 4, or train across the three shared floors. YourFit gives women room to pursue their own goals, with coaching when wanted.

YourFit's Women-Only Training Area: Her Zone and Beyond

YourFit's Women-Only Training Area: Privacy When You Want It, Freedom to Train Your Way

Women come to the gym for many different reasons. Some love strength training and want to squat, deadlift and use every part of the gym. Others want to build muscle, develop their lower body or reduce body fat. Some are beginners, mothers returning to exercise after childbirth, office workers becoming more active, or simply people who feel more comfortable in a private space.

At YourFit Private Gym, you do not have to choose between a fully equipped gym and a dedicated women's area. Both are available within the same four-floor facility.

Floors 1, 2 and 3 are shared training areas for men and women. Floor 4 is Her Zone, a dedicated women's training area. Choose the space that suits your program, goals and preferred level of privacy for each session.

Why dedicate a floor to women?

Not every female member wants a separate area, but many people do not feel completely at ease when they first enter a gym. You may be unfamiliar with equipment, unsure of your technique or uncomfortable doing squats, hip thrusts or other lower-body exercises in a busy space.

A dedicated women's area can make those first weeks easier. You can get to know the equipment, focus on your program and build confidence at your own pace without feeling watched.

Her Zone does not assume women need lighter weights or simpler workouts. It is an additional choice of space. If your program calls for equipment elsewhere, or you feel ready to explore, you can use the rest of YourFit just like any other member.

Who are floors 1, 2 and 3 for?

YourFit's first three floors welcome both men and women. If you enjoy a shared atmosphere, strength training, racks, free weights, cables, cardio or functional training, these areas are available to you.

Women working on muscle gain, strength or performance for tennis, pickleball or running, as well as those who enjoy lifting heavier weights, may use several areas across YourFit's four floors.

Being a woman does not restrict you to the women's area. Train wherever the equipment for your program is located.

For a structured approach to squats, deadlifts and strength development, explore Strength Training. Your goals and training background should determine the weights you use, not your gender.

Who is Her Zone on floor 4 for?

Her Zone suits women who want more privacy while training. You might be completely new to the gym, unfamiliar with the setting or simply prefer a quieter space to focus on yourself.

Experienced members may prefer Her Zone for lower-body or glute sessions, or on days when they want a more private workout. It is not just for beginners.

You do not have to make a permanent choice. Train on floor 4 today and use floors 1, 2 or 3 next time if your program needs different equipment. Her Zone gives you more options within the same gym.

Different women, different training goals

YourFit avoids offering one standard plan and calling it a women's workout. Age, work, experience and life stage all shape what someone needs from training.

A 22-year-old working on body composition has different needs from someone returning after childbirth. An office worker who sits for eight hours a day starts from a different place than someone playing tennis four times a week. A 45-year-old focused on long-term muscle and health may have different priorities from a younger lifter pursuing strength.

That is why YourFit offers Women's Private Training: privacy when wanted, with a program built around each member's own goals and current condition.

Women starting gym training for the first time

It is normal not to know where to begin. You may be unsure how to adjust a machine, choose a weight or judge whether you are performing a movement correctly.

The initial focus should be learning basic technique, understanding equipment and feeling confident in the gym, rather than lifting as heavily or burning as many calories as possible.

Her Zone offers a more private place to learn. As you become comfortable, you can gradually use other areas as your program requires.

Women working on body shape and glute development

This is a common goal, but it is often reduced to nothing more than glute and ab exercises.

A body composition program needs to consider muscle mass, body fat, strength, nutrition and consistency. Your coach can give extra attention to your lower body and glutes while still developing your upper body and core for balanced strength.

Building glutes or creating a more defined waist takes more than a few exercises found online. It requires suitable loads, enough training volume, progression over time and appropriate nutrition.

Members seeking more substantial changes in body composition can also draw on the approach used in Body Transformation.

Women who want to lift heavier and build strength

Not every woman comes to the gym to lose weight or become smaller. Some want to feel stronger each month, improve their squat, add weight to their hip thrust, learn to deadlift or challenge themselves.

Women's Private Training does not mean light workouts only. When your technique and training foundation support it, the program can progressively increase load and difficulty.

As your focus shifts towards strength, you can use racks, platforms and other areas at YourFit. Her Zone remains available when you want more privacy, without limiting your strength ambitions.

Office workers and women who spend much of the day sitting

If you work at a computer for most of the day, your first goal does not have to be a target weight or body measurement.

After a long period of inactivity, you may first need to rebuild strength, improve control of your movements and establish an exercise routine you can maintain.

Your program can combine strength, mobility and supporting exercises suited to your starting point. Depending on your goals, Posture & Mobility may also be a useful direction.

The schedule needs to fit real life. If you have time for two or three sessions a week, the program should work within that time rather than require daily gym visits.

Mothers returning to exercise after childbirth

After pregnancy, childbirth and caring for a baby, many women want to return to training but are unsure where to start.

Once a doctor or appropriate healthcare professional has cleared you to return to exercise, the program should begin with your current condition rather than immediately return you to your pre-pregnancy training level.

Flexibility matters when sleep, childcare and energy levels vary. Your coach should adapt training loads and the schedule to what is manageable, without adding pressure to get your pre-pregnancy body back quickly.

For many mothers, Her Zone can also make returning to the gym after a long break feel more comfortable.

Women who play tennis, pickleball, run or enjoy other sports

If you already play sport regularly, gym training can support that activity rather than become your main sport.

Tennis and pickleball players may work on leg strength, core strength and movement control. Runners may focus on strength and the ability to tolerate training loads. People combining several sports need to balance strength sessions with their sport schedule and allow time for recovery.

The program should consider how your body performs, as well as how it looks. Women's Private Training can incorporate a Sports Performance focus to suit your sport and goals.

Women over 40 focused on long-term strength and muscle

Training priorities can change with life stage. Many women become more interested in maintaining muscle, strength, mobility and independence in daily life than in the number on the scale alone.

That does not mean the program must become very light. Strength training can remain a key part of it, with load, volume and progression matched to your individual starting point.

If this describes your priorities, explore Active 40+.

Busy women and those who have struggled to stay consistent

Some people know what to do and feel motivated at the start, but find it difficult to keep training when work becomes busy.

You may have bought a one-year membership, attended regularly for a few weeks, then stopped after a work trip, a month of deadlines or another disruption.

The answer may be a more realistic program rather than a more complicated one. Two or three sessions you can sustain each week may be more useful than a five-day plan you abandon after a few weeks.

A coach can help you build a schedule around work, adjust the plan when your routine changes and return to training after interruptions.

Women who simply prefer more privacy

You do not have to be a beginner or have a particular reason to prefer a women's training area.

Some experienced lifters still prefer a more private setting. Others feel uncomfortable performing certain movements in a crowded area, or simply concentrate better with fewer people around.

That is a valid preference.

Her Zone gives you that option. Use floor 4 for a private session today, and the other floors when you need racks, cardio equipment or the Hybrid area next time.

Women's Private Training at YourFit

Space is only one part of the experience. If you want a coach, Women's Private Training adapts the program to your goals, experience and daily routine.

The starting point is understanding where you are and what you want to change. Beginners may focus first on technique and confidence. Body composition goals may call for more emphasis on specific muscle groups. Experienced members can progress the load and difficulty. Office workers, mothers returning after childbirth and people with complex schedules may need more flexibility so training remains practical in everyday life.

You are not restricted to Her Zone throughout the program. Floors 1, 2 and 3 remain available whenever you need other equipment or training areas.

Privacy means more than a separate floor

A private space only matters if members feel respected within it.

Every YourFit coach must follow clear standards for communication and interaction. Words, behaviour or physical contact that make members uncomfortable are not acceptable. Inappropriate comments about bodies, sexual jokes, staring, unnecessary touching or other conduct that crosses professional boundaries have no place at YourFit.

When helping with technique or positioning, coaches must explain clearly and act professionally. Members can always say if they are uncomfortable with a particular form of assistance.

These standards apply to every YourFit member, regardless of gender.

Supportive coaching that respects your space

A good coach needs communication skills as well as technical knowledge. YourFit coaches are expected to help when needed, explain clearly, be patient with beginners and respect personal boundaries throughout training.

Being helpful does not mean interrupting constantly. If you know your program, have your headphones on and want to finish your session, you should not be repeatedly approached about services or made to feel you need to buy PT.

YourFit's approach is simple: no pressure, no unwanted interruptions and no pushy sales. Support is available when you need it, and your choice to train independently is respected.

Should you choose Membership, Hybrid or PT 1:1?

Choose according to the support you need, rather than your gender.

If you know how to train, have a program and want full control over your schedule, Membership may be the best fit.

If you want a coach to plan and guide sessions while enjoying a small group, Hybrid Training 1:4 sits between independent training and private PT.

If you are completely new or want a program closely tailored to your goals, Personal Training or Women's Private Training offers closer support.

Whichever option you choose, you can use the areas your program requires and choose Her Zone when you want more privacy.

Is YourFit a women-only gym?

No. YourFit is a private gym for both men and women.

Floors 1, 2 and 3 are shared, while floor 4 is Her Zone for women. This layout provides space for strength, cardio, functional training and other goals, alongside a dedicated area for women who prefer more privacy.

You might enjoy strength training downstairs and use Her Zone another day. Or you might begin on floor 4 and gradually explore the rest of the gym as your confidence grows.

You do not have to choose one permanently.

Space and support that fit you

YourFit's women's area responds to a simple need: women do not all feel comfortable in the same setting, and they do not all come to the gym with the same goal.

Some want to change their physique, others to build strength. Some are returning after childbirth or spending long days at a desk. Others simply want somewhere private to train without interruptions.

YourFit provides three shared floors and dedicates floor 4 to Her Zone. Independent members can choose the areas that suit their program. Those who want individual guidance can choose Women's Private Training, with a plan built around their own goals and routine.

What matters most is that you feel comfortable, respected and supported by a suitable program that you can maintain over time.
